Happy New Year everyone! I’m still in Wisconsin enjoying the holidays with my husband and inlaws, but I wanted to kick off the new year in a fantastic way for you guys.
I was recently sent the Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix palette for review, but as you know, I had already purchased it! I checked with the company, and they consented to me doing a giveaway for my readers. I’ll be shipping out the palette myself, therefore I’m opening up this giveaway internationally. It doesn’t matter where you live – if you win, I will mail it to you!

So PR is a bit of an awkward beast (in order to receive products). You have to scour the internet and search for the PR company that promotes the brand. Sometimes it’s done by the brand itself, and sometimes it’s done by a completely separate company. Once you locate the company that promotes the brand, then you have to go about searching for an e-mail address. You can often find them in PR releases online, on Twitter or on LinkedIn. From there, you traditionally tell them about your blog and provice them with a media kit. It can be quite the challenging hunt for some brands for sure. Good luck!

I know a lot of people wanted to get their hands on this, so I’m really glad to have the opportunity to give it away! I’ve always looked at the Naked Basics, but never picked either of them up! Solid choice though – helpful for any look!

Happy New Year Chelle 💖 I love the photo of you in the snow in front of Ulta, you look so triumphant! LoL This was the year of indies for me – both in nail polish and makeup, I tried a little bit of everything from several small businesses and found some beauties! My favorites makeup wise are definitely Looxi Beauty and Fyrinnae.

I think my fave makeup palette from 2015 was the BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow palette 🙂 I looove getting my glow on 😛

My favourite palette is probably the Lancome French innocence that was released around Valentine’s Day. I reach for it all the time!

This makes me happy because I missed out on this in stores! I got the Urban Spectrum instead, which is great, but there are some colours here that area MUST HAVES.
Between the Kat Von D and all other holiday releases, the KVD definitely wins out for me. And it’s a shame that the stock disappeared so quickly! Good luck!

I kind of didn’t notice the palette was limited, so I missed my chance when Kat announced on her Instagram, that it is now sold out officially. So sad 🙁
Ah – my favourite makeup palette. Clearly the Love Sick Stack from melt. The packaging is amazing and I combined it the most of all my palettes and tried to include the shades in other compilations.
I’ve not tried melt yet! Such a steep price tag on those but man are they pretty. Is Love Sick the one with the red shadow?

The only palette I got in 2015 (that I remember) is the ABH Self Made Palette, but I really like it. The colors are beautiful, and I love the formula.

Oooh. I was beyond bummed when this was sold out! My favorite palette in 2015 might be Tarte’s original Tartlette matte palette. I also enjoy Too-Faced’s original Chocolate Bar palette. Looking forward to Too-Faced releasing that Peach palette I keep seeing on the interwebs.

I like anything with a glitter or shimmer to it, when it comes to palettes- most fail because they tend to just have glitter on the top then all the way through

Haven’t found one yet, most just have a top layer. Avon use to make one that was awesome, but they quite producing it. Haven’t found one to replace it yet.

I’m used to use neutrals on my eyes most of the time, so my favourite is still the Urban Decay Pulp Fiction palette, even if it didn’t come out this year.

My favourite colour palette came at the end of the year . Love Macs Ellie Goulding make up . Just beautiful unfortunately it sold out so quick I only got the two lipsticks and one of the lip pencils.
The shades for that collection looked gorgeous, but I never got around to picking any up. 🙁

Happy New Year! My favourite palette as of late has been UD Naked 2. Not too exciting but very practical for daily wear. My favourite new product of 2015 would have to be benefits they’re real mink brown tinted primer. This stuff seriously rocks!

The tartlette palette was my fave of 2015 and into 2016 as well. I love that it is all matte as I have very bad hooded lids and it works so well for me.

My favorite makeup palette in 2015 was this one…Mi Vida Loca Remix and it was not available in store but I swatched and played with it every time I went in the store. I even signed up for email alerts to notify when it was restocked both in store and on Kat’s website but was never notified. This was my one and only want for the holidays. So I’m hoping, praying and keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed to win it NOW!!!!!!!

I don’t have a favourite make up palette from 2015. What I have been trying to find is a blush that is similar to NARS pennylane. I can’t say I have been very successful yet.

Happy New Year. What I like the most about this palette, besides how beautiful it is, is the range of colours. It would really encourage me to experiment more with colour as I tend to use the same shades of brown !
