New for fall is Annabelle‘s Smokey Nudes palette! I feel like we say this every few months, but it really is starting to feel like the drugstore brands are starting to up their game. We’ve needed palette options from the drugstore and we’re finally starting to get them! With ten shades to work with, nude and neutral lovers can rejoice in this palette. There’s even three matte/satin finish shades which are an enormous bonus in a palette. Trying to work eye looks with only shimmery shades can be a bit difficult, so I’m really happy that Annabelle included different finishes.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality as I can only ever remember buying a black eyeshadow from the brand many, MANY years ago (that is now long gone). I’m happy they came out with a palette that rival the ridiculously priced L’Oreal ones. I just wish there was a proper browbone highlight – the pink is way too pink for that on me and the icy white shade is too stark. Ah well.
Yeah I agree – the highlights don’t QUITE work, but it’s darn close! I tried one of their eyeshadows a while back before this one and wasn’t impressed either, but this is surprisingly good!

Wow they actually swatched better than I expected! Nice palette, great for when you wanna do a full face drugstore look! I can never find any good eyeshadows at the drugstore!

Yeah they’re fairly pigmented. The darks are quite pigmented, although the midtone shades are a bit muted. Lovely ensemble though!
I really like the colours in this palette and I could see myself reaching for it often if I owned it.

I just really love that icy white shimmery shade! And the bronze, but I always love shades like that.
