Brands may already be talking about spring products, but since it’s still firmly winter in my book, I’m swatching up the winter release palettes by Mary Kay. The Pure Dimensions Eye Palettes are silky smooth and are absolutely stunning to look at (although you’ll need some mattes to get a completely comprehensive look since these are all shimmery!).

I was eyeing these (was thinking the Maui Gardens) – I was very tempted but ultimately decided against them because of the bulkiness of the compacts. I wished they were more slim. Just goes to show, packaging matters even if the product inside is great.
And yeah, I can’t be thinking about Spring makeup yet… still enjoying my Winter stuff!

I agree – the packaging is oddly shaped and completely inconvenient. It’s so unnecessary to have such bulky packaging – especially since the plastic actually feels fairly cheap. 🙁

So… I was going to do one eye look per palette and then decided against it because the spring launches are going to be soon. Sorry!
As mentioned, I was completely put off by the dome shaped top. So impractical! The shades really are lovely though.

Love the shades in moroccan dunes and maui gardens! I can’t resist shimmery shades, peaches and rich deep jewel tones!

And they definitely pack a punch of shimmer! Shimmery jewel tones are always so dang stunning to look at. 🙂
