My Makeup Collection & Storage (2014)

201403_makeupcollection5

Ah, the makeup collection and storage posts (or videos). I love them so. Since I love reading about everyone else’s collections, I thought I’d share my own!

201403_makeupcollection1

The area for my makeup is pretty small. The desk is shoved into a corner of the bedroom where it fits snuggly against the wall between the window and the closet door. The desk is from IKEA (go figure) and I’m really unsure what the model is. It’s similar to this one, but that’s not exactly it. It has a glass top and a single shelf that spans the length of the table (which, as you can see, I stuff just about everything under this table).

201403_makeupcollection2

Obligatory zoomed out shot with Nemo product placement. Complementary unmade bed courtesy of the cat.

201403_makeupcollection3

So as you can see, the space is small and narrow, but I manage to fit everything in quite nicely. One of the most important things to me is being able to see ALL of my makeup at a glance. I don’t want anything packed away in drawers where they’ll inevitably become forgotten. For that very reason, I don’t want my collection to get too big.

201403_makeupcollection4

So here is a closeup of the entire set up. I keep a bag of empty products on the shelf below. There are a few makeup bags stored there as well. And a pile of yoga pants that no longer fit me but I refuse to throw out because they’re Lululemon and I paid a pretty penny for those!

The mirror is also from IKEA annnnd yet again I can’t find it on their web site. What the heck is going on here?! Kind of wonder if IKEA did a total stock overhaul… Anyway, I love it because I love the look of wrought iron and the shape and curve of bent wrought iron reminds me of my tattoo (tribal design). I like to hang my jewelry off the curves – everything from watches, necklaces, bracelets and rings. Since I’m not much of a jewelry person, I don’t need a lot of storage space for my accessories and dangling them works out rather nicely. I also have a small clippy lamp stuck to the top of the mirror. It’s not the best lighting, but it works well enough for those winter mornings when the sun still isn’t up when I need to get ready for work.

So let’s zoom in a bit closer and start on the top of my makeup table.

201403_makeupcollection6

I bought this letter/mail divider from Bed, Bath and Beyond for about $20 CAD and it houses most of my palettes. It’s not height-staggered inside, so I arranged my palettes as best I could from shortest to tallest. You can see I labelled my Sleek palettes since they’re impossible to differentiate just by looking at the packaging. I’ve only recently become a palette person (Urban Decay‘s Naked set me off) and I have six Sleek palettes, one MUA, a MAC eyeshadow quad of shades I’m trying to finish up, all three UD Naked iterations, Laura Mercier‘s Artist (2013), a customized Inglot palette, Tarte‘s Off The Cuff, Too Faced’s A Few of my Favorite Things and a massive Sephora palette in the back.

201403_makeupcollection7

To the left of my palette divider is an acrylic makeup organizer I also picked up from Bed, Bath and Beyond (brand is Hotel Balfour, approximately ~$16). This is truly organized chaos. Starting at the back left, I have all of my L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadows stacked up along with a few random items (a depotted MAC Hibiscus lipstick when the bullet broke, a sample of a Laura Mercier powder, a tub of crystals and some hand sanitizer).

The back middle section contains my favourite foundations (Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, No7 Instant Radiance,  yabyRevlon Colorstay). Just in front of the foundations are my lipsticks – primarily MAC but also some Revlon and Maybelline.

To the right at the back are my pencil-like products, primarily eye and lip liners and any jumbo eyeshadow pencils I happen to have. In front of the liners is my entire collection of NYX butter glosses (I had the whole lot of them until they just recently released more shades) and a few other assorted glosses. In front of the glosses are my MAC fluidlines which are my preferred liners, along with a tiny baby sample of Benefit‘s Watts Up.

201403_makeupcollection8

That unit also has a pull out drawer which has my false lashes, my gungy Duo eyelash glue that clearly needs replacing, some sharpeners and…. the nail clippers for my kitty’s claws.

201403_makeupcollection9

The next acrylic unit to the left of the previous one was also purchased from Bed, Bath and Beyond (~$14 CAD). Starting at the back left: This has my smaller eyeshadow palettes – two Wet n Wild and three Maybelline quads. In front of the palettes is kind of a mishmash – I have my eyeshadow singles/duos (NARS, MUA, Illamasqua, Urban Decay, NYX, Wet n Wild) and my lip balms (Nivea, Blistex).

The section on the right is a bit of a mess. At the back are a few glosses and lipstains along with my beloved Rimmel Apocalips and some jumbo lip pencils I’m not a huge fan of. I also have two foundations I’m trying to use up (CoverGirl CC cream and MUA matte foundation). The lipstick holder area has products I’m trying to use up (left side) and some sample size mascaras that I haven’t opened yet. To the right are a few small sizes of a lipstick and lipgloss and a Revlon lip butter in Creme Brulee.

201403_makeupcollection14

Both units separated so you can see their size when compared to each other.

201403_makeupcollection10

This is an eyesore to me, but  it’s my only solution at the moment for my blushes, bronzers and highlighters. I bought this utensil divider from Kitchen Stuff Plus (~$20 CAD) and it really isn’t the best divider for these items – too much of my stuff rattles around. The left side contains all of my blushes (Tarte, MAC, Joe Fresh, Physicians Formula, Maybelline, Cargo, Sleek, Wet n Wild, Hard Candy, Revlon, Illamasqua, NYX, Bourjois).

The right side has my bronzer in front (NYC, Joe Fresh, Physicians Formula, Revlon) and my highlighters behind (MAC, Hard Candy, Too Faced, Dior, Hourglass).

201403_makeupcollection11

Moving up from the table, I have three shelves (Debbie Travis shelves from Canadian Tire, $~28 CAD) that I absolutely love.  They’re three different sizes and I think they look quite unique.

The smallest shelf houses two upcycled Bath and Body Works 3-wick candle holders. The left one has all of my mineralize eyeshadows from MAC, the right one has my Maybelline Color Tattoos.

201403_makeupcollection12

The largest shelf has my four MAC palettes (check them out here: NeutralsBlacks & WhitesGreens & BluesPinks & Purples) along with a 9-pan Z Palette with my Makeup Geek eyeshadows.  To the right of the palettes is a potting planter that I picked up from a gardening center – this one contains my larger face brushes. To the right is another upcycle candle container filled with eye brushes.

201403_makeupcollection13

The last remaining shelf is the medium sized one. The left side (container is from an emptied out Ferrero Rocher chocolate box) has my pigments and glitters. Another small candle holder (this one was from IKEA) has my currently in use mascara, concealers, lip primer, eye primers and glitter glue. There’s a potted MAC Omega shadow remaining on the shelf along with my perfumes and sprays (Alfred Sung ShiBath and Body Works Warm Vanilla SugarBath and Body Works SkyAdidas Pure Lightness and MAC Turquatic).

201403_makeupcollection4

There you have my entire collection! I love having everything in plain sight which makes it easy for me to pick out what to wear. I especially like that the small shelving units give me a lot more visible vertical space. If you have a collection post or video, I’d love to see it!

What’s On My Face – Volume 12

More recent makeup looks! A few neutrals mixed in with the bright ones.

20140319_look4.1

I got this idea from Jaclyn Hill (her tutorial). She used some beautiful Makeup Geek shadows and while I had most of them, I had to improvise the lid colour. Her looks came out a lot more pink, whereas mine leans more towards red. I know red shadow isn’t something anyone really gravitates towards, but red and orange are my favourite colours to play with on the eyes – probably because they’re rather unconventional.

20140319_look4.2

Eyes

  1. Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie at the top of crease.
  2. Makeup Geek Razzleberry heavily in the outer corner and through the crease (don’t blend above Peach Smoothie). Lightly line the lower outer corner of your bottom lashline as well.
  3. Taking the Sleek Sunset palette, mix together the third shade from the left (top row) with the first shade on the right (bottom row) and apply the mixed shadows to your entire lid, blending it into Razzleberry.

MAC Shroom to highlight the brow, MAC Blacktrack fluidline for the winged liner and L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black on my lashes.

 Rest of the Face

  • Foundation: none
  • Blush: Tarte Charisma
  • Bronzer: Physicians Formula Happy Booster in Light/Medium
  • Lips: MAC Shy Girl

20140319_look1.1

This the look I do when I need to be a bit more dressed up, but have no idea what to wear on my face. There isn’t an outfit in the world that this eyeshadow won’t match!

20140319_look1.2

Eyes

  1. (all Urban DecayVirgin all over the lid.
  2. Buck in the outer corner and through the crease.
  3. Smog in the very outer corner.

Virgin to highlight the brow, MAC Blacktrack fluidline for the winged liner and Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara on my lashes.

Rest of the Face

  • Foundation: Yaby in Buff
  • Brows: Urban Decay Naked (only mentioning this since I usually use MAC Omega)
  • Concealer: Collection Lasting Perfection in Shade 2 Light
  • Bronzer: Tarte Park Avenue Princess
  • Blush: Tarte Darling
  • Highlighter: Hard Candy Tiki
  • Lips: MAC Brick lipliner with MAC Russian Red on top

20140319_look3.1

I don’t usually do a cut crease because I honestly don’ really know what I’m doing. This ended up a bit more smoothed out through the crease than it should be, but I really love the colour combination for this one.

20140319_look3.2

Eyes

I first applied NYX‘s Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk all over the lid and smoothed it out. Then:

  1. Applied a mixture of a very yellow-gold from a Sephora palette I own (sorry, no name!) to the inner half of the lid.
  2. Inglot AMC Shine #15 on the outer half of the lid.
  3. Inglot Matte #325 at the very outer edge then pulled as sharply as you can through the crease.
  4. Makeup Geek Creme Brulee to blend out the very upper edge of the purple shadow.

Too Faced Cream Colored Ponies to highlight the brow, Make Up For Ever Aqualiner in 13 Black for the wing and L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black on my lashes.

Rest of the Face

  • Foundation: CoverGirl CC Cream in 110 Classic Ivory mixed with Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in 51 Light Vanilla
  • Blush: Sleek Crochet
  • Highlighter: MAC Whisper of Gilt
  • Lips: NYX Cherry Cheesecake

20140319_look2.1

This was out of my comfort zone because it required toning down my eye makeup so that I could make the purple mascara pop more.

20140319_look2.2

Eyes

  1. MAC Blanc Type all over the lid.
  2. Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie on the outer half of the lid.
  3. Makeup Geek Creme Brulee lightly through the crease.

Blanc Type to highlight the brow and Sephora Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara in Purple on my lashes.

Rest of the Face

  • Foundation: CoverGirl CC Cream in 110 Classic Ivory mixed with Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in 51 Light Vanilla
  • Bronzer: Physicians Formula Bronze Booster in Light/Medium
  • Blush: MAC Gingerly
  • Highlighter: MAC Whisper of Gilt
  • Lips: Nothing

20140319_look5.1

I used a gold base for this one because the previous time I’d done this look, I didn’t feel like the purple-gold (African Violet) had enough punch to it. I much prefer this with the base because it gives the shade a lot more of the gold dimension that’s already there but slightly hidden.

20140319_look5.2

Eyes

First I applied Maybelline‘s Color Tattoo in Bold Gold all over the lid. Then:

  1. (all Laura MercierAfrican Violet all over the lid.
  2. Kir Royal in the outer corner.
  3. Plum Smoke through the crease.

Vanilla Nuts to highlight the brow and L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black on my lashes.

Rest of the Face

  • Foundation: CoverGirl CC Cream in 110 Classic Ivory mixed with Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in 51 Light Vanilla
  • Blush: I’m not positive, but it might be Tarte Exposed
  • Bronzer: Physicians Formula Bronze Booster in Light/Medium
  • Highlighter: MAC Whisper of Gilt
  • Lips: Nothing

Thanks for reading. I hope something inspired you. 🙂

Ipsy – March 2014 Glam Bag

201403_ipsy_glambag1

Ipsy‘s March bag was an absolute slam dunk. There is nothing in here I didn’t like! At first I was disappointed because there were only four products but they really outdid themselves on this one.

Let’s take a look at what came for me this month.

Pixi – Flawless Beauty Primer (12 ml for $8.80, full size is 30 ml for $22)
Pixi – Flawless Beauty Primer (12 ml for $8.80, full size is 30 ml for $22)

I’m not really sold on primers to be honest. I’ve gone through a few sample sizes of various brands and none of them really did anything for me (positive or negative). That being said, Pixi‘s Flawless Beauty Primer actually *did* do something.

When I first squeezed a drop out of the tube I was a little skeptical. The product isn’t clear, it’s actually quite pink with a sheen to it. So I’m thinking “well this is going to end in tears…” as I was blending it into my skin. It definitely tinted my skin and I looked like I had a bit of a pinky tan. I blended some foundation over top of it and it seemed to add a healthy glow even through the matte foundation (MUA matte). As a note, less is more with this product. I used too much and it balled up a little in certain areas – user error though, I don’t think it was the fault of the product.

bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie in Get Ready (No size anywhere, best guess it’s 1/4 the size of a normal lipstick, so… $4.50, full size is $18)
bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie in Get Ready (No size anywhere, best guess it’s 1/4 the size of a normal lipstick, so… $4.50, full size is $18)

I don’t own anything from bareMinerals so I was really happy to get this lipstick. It’s a really tiny tube, maybe 1/4 the size of a full size of lipstick and the colour is beautiful.Get Ready is a pretty generic medium pink – which makes it easy to market to a lot of people. It has quite a bit of slip to it on the lips, so you may find it slides around a lot. I wore it with a lip primer and found it wore off within two hours or so, but it’s such an easy shade to wear and re-apply that you won’t find yourself with really awkward fade marks as the product wears away from your lips.

NYX Love In Rio – Segredos de Giselle ($6 USD, full size)
NYX Love In Rio – Segredos de Giselle ($6 USD, full size)

NYX changed up their eyeshadow trios relatively recently (I’ve seen them being phased out of Rexall over the last year or so) but I’ve never gotten around to trying out the old ones or the new ones. This trio, Segredos de Giselle, is a pretty failsafe colour combination (reminds me of Wet n Wild‘s Walking On Eggshells).

NYX Love In Rio – Segredos de Giselle
NYX Love In Rio – Segredos de Giselle

The swatches look rather sheer, but they apply really nicely on the lids. NYX having quality products is shocking to no one as they’ve proven themselves multiple times over the years with their products. One things that especially pleased me is how similar the beige shade is to Urban Decay‘s Virgin (closer than MAC‘s Shroom, in my opinion) and the brown is pretty close to Urban Decay‘s Smog.

Chella – Indigo eyeliner ($24 USD, full size)
Chella – Indigo eyeliner ($24 USD, full size)

The final item in my bag was this Indigo liner from Chella. I was expecting this to be a pencil liner (boo) so I was extremely pleased when I found out it was actually a liquid liner (yay!). The colour is absolutely beautiful and incredibly vibrant. It doesn’t apply quite as easily to the eyelid as it does to the hand – getting the product to flow right out of the very tip can be a bit annoying. Although it can be a bit of a nuisance with application, it does stay on all day and didn’t smudge or move around at all. I also really love that this liner is completely matte. Definite winner.

  • Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer (12 ml @ $8.80 USD, full size is 30 ml for $22 USD)
  • bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie in Get Ready (no size anywhere – best guess it’s 1/4 the size of a normal lipstick, so about $4.50 USD, full size is $18 USD)
  • NYX Love In Rio – Segredos de Giselle ($6 USD, full size)
  • Chella Indigo liner ($24 USD, full size)

BAG TOTAL: $~43.30 USD

My Thoughts

I said it right at the top of this post – I loved this month! I’ll use every item and that’s really exciting! The colours are on the safe side (pinks, beige, brown, etc.) because I think that for the most part people who subscribe to Ipsy are looking for something that’s pretty generic… which is why the indigo liner was such a surprise. It’s beautifully vibrant and while it’s not an easy safe colour like black or brown, it’s still useable by loads of people.

Two definite thumbs up.

Travel Makeup Bag – Off to Baltimore and New York City!

Tomorrow morning I’m off on a much needed vacation to visit some friends in the US. I’ll be headed to Baltimore for six days first and then back up to New York City for five.

Nemo’s reaction to being left alone again…
Nemo’s reaction to being left alone again…

In Baltimore I’ll be visiting a close friend that I’m eager to spend more time with. We’ve signed up for the Charm City Shamrock 5k run on Sunday and I’m excited to look as ridiculous as possible with the green hair extensions I’ve picked up and as much glitter as I can find. There’s a chance I’ll get to visit Washington D.C., but that isn’t set in stone yet.

In New York City I’ll be visiting my old university roommate (and it’s frightening to think that we lived together ten years ago…) and seeing another old friend from my teen years. For shits and giggles, I also signed up for a 10k run on Roosevelt island while I’m there. Until recently, I used to visit New York City every year so I’m anxious to go back!

And not to mention… I am *seriously* excited to pick up all the makeup I can get my hands on for the far cheaper prices that they have in the US!

So let’s take a peak into what I’m bringing on vacation this time.

201403_travel_makeup_bag2

Once again, the bag I’m taking with me is from MAC‘s Liberty of London collection (2010). I love this bag, and until it frays and falls apart, I’ll be using it!

Palettes – Laura Mercier Artist (2013), customized MAC quad and Tarte Off The Cuff
Palettes – Laura Mercier Artist (2013), customized MAC quad and Tarte Off The Cuff

I’m bringing along Laura Mercier‘s Artist palette (2013) instead of my usual Urban Decay Naked. I’m doing this primarily because my Naked palette gets enough travel mileage and I think the Artist palette has a bit more selection for looks since there’s far more matte shades.

Tarte‘s Off The Cuff palette is an easy one – four blushes and a bronzer without the need for bringing multiple bulky compacts.

The green MAC quad is for St. Patrick’s Day. I’ll definitely want to go all out with green everything so I plopped in a few shades (Juxt, Bio Green, Golden Olive pigment andClub) so I can be as festive as possible!

Lip Products
Lip Products

I kept the lip products fairly simple since re-applying lipstick on vacation is mostly just frustrating to me. One lipstick (Revlon‘s Fire and Ice) and MAC‘s Prep + Prime for lip to prevent feathering should I decide to actually wear the lipstick. The NYX Butter Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie is for when I want something easy to wear. And finally, I picked up a Nivea lip balm in Milk & Honey specifically for this trip because I didn’t actually own another stick lip balm and I didn’t want to carry around a potted product as they don’t sit easily in my pockets. Lip balms are an absolute must for me when I travel.

MAC Prep + Prime for Lip, Nivea Milk and Honey, Revlon Fire and Ice, NYX Vanilla Cream Pie
MAC Prep + Prime for Lip, Nivea Milk and Honey, Revlon Fire and Ice, NYX Vanilla Cream Pie

It doesn’t look like many lip products really… but I know I won’t wear much else even if I were to bring a few more.

NARS Pro Prime Eye Primer and Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original
NARS Pro Prime Eye Primer and Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original

Double primers you ask? Yep. I swore by Urban Decay Primer Potion for years, but it recently started creasing on me (much to my horror). I tried the NARS one and it *also* creased on me. If I double up and use them both on my lids then the creasing stops, so… double primers from now on.

Benefit Watts Up and some craft gems
Benefit Watts Up and some craft gems

I haven’t used it much, but I packed Benefit‘s Watts Up highlighter simply because it’s a sample size product and fits easily in my bag. The sheen of this highlighter is quite similar to MAC‘s Soft and Gentle.

The craft gems are for the St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock 5k race a friend and I are doing in Baltimore. Although the gems aren’t green, they’re what I had available, and I’ll definitely be plastering my face in them for the run!

yaby foundation in Buff, MAC Blacktrack fluidline, duo lash adhesive and Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara
yaby foundation in Buff, MAC Blacktrack fluidline, duo lash adhesive and Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara

More tiny products! The yaby foundation in Buff is a good shade for me right now and the tube is tiny so that was an easy one to pop in. I don’t expect to be wearing much foundation, but it’s nice to have in case I decide I want to wear some. Too Faced‘s Better Than Sex mascara is a deluxe sample size and I’m hoping to finish this one up  on the trip. I’m slightly worried because it’s not waterproof and the weather forecast looks positively schizophrenic for the next few weeks. :s

The Duo lash adhesive is for the gems (and by looking at that package, it definitely needs replacing). And lastly, my beloved MAC Blacktrack fluidline.  My liquid liners just weren’t working out the way I wanted them to and even though it’s slightly more work (have to bring an extra brush and all), the end result is far better.

That’s everything I’ve stowed away in my makeup bag for my trip! Blog posts will continue while I’m gone as I have them sitting in queue ready to go live on the usual schedule (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays). Take care everyone. 🙂

My MAC Pinks & Purples Palette

201403_mac_pinksandpurples1

This the last of MAC palettes and it contains my pink and purples shadows.

My MAC Pinks and Purples Palette
My MAC Pinks and Purples Palette

Despite the number of shadows that make up this palette, I’m really not much of a pink eyeshadow wearer. A lot of these shadows were purchased because the makeup artist used them on me at my wedding and I wanted to buy the pans to keep for memories sake.

On with the swatches!

MAC – Star n Rockets
MAC – Star n Rockets

Name: Stars n Rockets
Finish: Veluxe Pearl
Notes: I almost didn’t buy this shade because I thought it would be too similar to Dame’s Desire (below). Thankfully, it’s not. This is a beautiful purply-pink with a darker purple/blue duochrome.

MAC – Dame’s Desire
MAC – Dame’s Desire

Name: Dame’s Desire
Finish: Frost
Notes: This is a limited edition shade that was re-promoted in the Liberty of London collection, which is when I picked it up. It has a slight edge of blue duochrome, but there’s barely a whisper of it.

MAC – Parfait Amour
MAC – Parfait Amour

Name: Parfait Amour
Finish: Frost
Notes: Oh man this shade. Everyone loves it… except me. This is a purple with pink duochrome and despite it swatching nicely, this applies like an absolute bastard on my lids. Patchy, sheer, just out and out BAD. This is a pretty old shade though, so chances are the formula may be better these days.

MAC – Blackberry
MAC – Blackberry

Name: Blackberry
Finish: Matte
Notes:  Despite looking rather brown in the swatch, this is a matte maroon shade. One of my more recent shades that I got from a Back 2 MAC.

MAC – Naked Lunch
MAC – Naked Lunch

Name: Naked Lunch
Finish: Frost
Notes: Frosty light pink – a cult favourite. Not one I wear too often anymore, but it has lovely colour payoff.

MAC – Gleam
MAC – Gleam

Name: Gleam
Finish: Lustre
Notes: Used on me for my wedding – but I can’t figure out why because this is a glittery mess. It’s a lustre, so it’s chunky, filled with glitter and pretty sheer. If you’re using it, make sure to pack it on. I use this a lot with Coppering.

MAC – Paradisco
MAC – Paradisco

Name: Paradisco
Finish: Frost
Notes: I was given this by a friend because she couldn’t figure out how to wear it. In the pan it looks orange with a pink duochrome, but it swatches (and wears) more pink with an orange duochrome. I mix this predominantly with teals and it works out pretty well.

MAC – Expensive Pink
MAC – Expensive Pink

Name: Expensive Pink
Finish: Veluxe Pearl
Notes: Another cult favourite and another shade that was used on me for my wedding. Pink with gold duochrome, great colour payoff.

MAC – Sushi Flower
MAC – Sushi Flower

Name: Sushi Flower
Finish: Satin
Notes: Yet another wedding shade (do you see how I ended up with so many pinks now?), although I think the artist used this on my cheeks. I don’t wear this shade that often, but when I do I usually place this in the outer corner and do a thick black winged liner.

MAC – All That Glitters
MAC – All That Glitters

Name: All That Glitters
Finish: Veluxe Pearl
Notes: Before the beauty community fell in love with rose-gold, this was THE rose-gold. Applies beautifully.

MAC – Swish
MAC – Swish

Name: Swish
Finish: Frost
Notes: Ugh. My younger self didn’t know any better. I bought this in my teens – I think that right there says enough. This is a pink frost that is incredibly sheer and I obviously used a lot of this when I was younger, but it makes me look pretty ill. The only decent combination I’ve found so I can actually wear this in publish is to pair it with Sketch.

MAC – Star Violet
MAC – Star Violet

Name: Star Violet
Finish: Veluxe Pearl
Notes: This shade looks like nothing in the pan and my swatch isn’t great either, but this is a truly wonderful shade. I love pairing this with seafoamy greens and blues.

MAC – Cranberry
MAC – Cranberry

Name: Cranberry
Finish: Frost
Notes: This is like a red version of Star Violet. Beautiful shade.

MAC – Sketch
MAC – Sketch

Name: Sketch
Finish: Velvet
Notes:  Another shade that looks like nothing, but if I had to recommend any out of this entire post, this would be the one to get. This is a beautiful crease colour and it blends out incredibly smoothly.
