I have no idea how you can keep up a garden! I live in condo and I can barely keep three measles plants alive! LOL
Spring = walking some 5k’s because I hate walking in the cold, lol.
Haha I feel like I need to walk SUPER BRISKLY in the cold just to get my body temperature up asap!
My favourite thing about spring is getting ready to see my rose bushes bloom and start our veggie garden again! Plus all the new little baby animals!

You know it’s funny… while I do like the sunshine, I find it SO COZY to leave work in the dark. It just makes me feel more alive for whatever reason!

God, do we even get a spring? I’m in SK so we just had a storm here, semi’s in the ditches all over the province, it wasn’t just down south like it usually is. The snow out back in my yard is over my knees so this whole thing about “getting your yard ready” is total BS….what flipping yard? I’m tired of wearing big heavy winter boots, tired of freezing my face off walking to work… (well its saturday and I’m physically exhausted from a week of work so maybe I’m just snarky today) I love, LOVE walking in the summer time all around town (I even walk all the way out to the graveyard) taking instagram pics of all my towns flowers, the beautiful yards, reading books in my back yard, watching the birds eat out of my neighbours feeder (they refuse to eat out of mine ….) LOL
LOL! I can feel your frustration from here! I do love the snow, but I know it isn’t for everyone (or… most people rather!). I really love walks through graveyards tbh… it’s so peaceful and beautiful in there!

My favourite thing about spring is definitely all the flowers, especially the cherry blossom trees that come to life each year during spring here in Vancouver, it is so beautiful! There are a few events specifically for spring that I love going to as well, such as the tulip festival in Abbotsford.
We have a few cherry blossoms here in Toronto, but I think they’re mostly all relegated to High Park – which I don’t think I’ve ever made it out there to go see them (usually you see all kinds of photos of people just SWARMING the area and it looks like a total zoo!).
Lol I get it, thankfully there’s more than a few places where cherry blossoms bloom here in BC so I can avoid the big crowds and tourists.
That’s awesome! They’re far too concentrated in one area here!
My fave thing about spring is warmer weather, sitting outside and going for walks. And no winter boots or coats!
I do like the winter, but I have to say lugging around salt-stained, soggy winter boots throughout that season has got to be the WORST! Ugh.

Toronto really didn’t have any “my face is hurting days” this past winter. Although we’re definitely warmer than Montreal, we typically get a few days where it’s a bit blistering on the face. Not this time though!
OK so after two shit days of snow/freezing into ice/making highways dangerous, I’m a bit better LOL..yea, some anger issues there but I work for a living and the weekends are my only hope to head to the city for anything (yeah, my town doesn’t even have a grocery store). Its actually nice out today, low of -5 and maybe the snow in the back yard will disappear by the end of april.
Re-frozen water after defrosting is the worst. So damn slippery! Glad things are a bit better for you now. 🙂
My favourite thing about spring honestly is just the nicer weather, I feel like people are in such a better mood recovering from the miserable winter months lol! I also love buying myself fresh flowers to signal the new season ❤️

Ohhh good call! They taste SO much better during the spring and summer. I find most of the fruits and vegetables imported during the winter are really flavourless. Blech.
I’m not the biggest spring fan… More of an autumn kinda gal (cos it gets REALLY hot here) but if I had to choose a few things… It’d be lighter evenings, lighter mornings, the mild weather and that feeling like there’s more time in the day.
I’m there with you – I must prefer autumn. I love that crisp smell to the air! Waking up with the sun is definitely preferable though – I think I’d agree with you.. that’s one of my favourite things about the spring!

ok, calmed down a lot more..things are melting already this morning since 8am..its a work day so that will get me out of the house and hopefully in a better damned mood…it was gardenscape in the city on the weekend but the storm and the price of entrance put a damper on that …. also got a vesseys seed catologue that was hidden in a pile (I planted bulbs in the fall and cant wait for those)

We use pots and grow all kinds of vegetables. We do not have room for a garden in the ground, so I just grow them all in containers! We grow all kinds of peppers….cherry tomatoes, strawberries, celery, cucumbers, melons, pumpkins, green beans, peas….oh it is so much fun! Wish I could attach a picture here….but they really grow well! Our little one loves to eat the beans, peas, cherry tomatoes right off the plants!

I love when the weather changes, the sun feels warmer, the breeze is fresh, and I can open the windows and feel the air blow through the stuffy house!! and of course, the sounds of the birds, especially robins, as I wake up each morning to their song!!
Opening the windows is so lovely. I like getting rid of that stale air when I can open the windows!
My favourite thing is to get out golfing, but still lots of snow and minus temps. Boo!

I just think spring is so beautiful. Everything about it makes me happy. The sunshine, the evening rain, blooming flowers (even though I have allergies), chirping birds! Spring is my favorite. Also, my birthday is in April (on the 10th) so that just adds to my love for this season!

Well we do not have spring as such in my place.. But i have seen videos and pictures of spring season on other countries.. Such pretty colors, flowers and all.. Hears the climate too is very good in spring..

Ohh dear.. The coolest was just 73°f this time around.. Its soo humid more than being hot.. There are other places in India where its much cooler but in my state is damn humid..

getting to play in the dirt (aka start the garden) this year I have big plans – I found a landscaping app then a soil sale and a huge bulb sale (that was really a spend 10x more then I planned “deal”) so I have my work cut out for me! but fresh peonies & other bloomy bounties will make it all worthwhile!
