Wet n Wild Giveaway

Happy Friday everyone!

I went to the most insane Wet n Wild event a few weeks ago in Toronto. It was kind of a relaunch of the brand in Canada and they let us go “shopping” for products in a beautifully set up display that was filled to the brim with Wet n Wild products (you’ve probably noticed a few Wet n Wild reviews cropping up lately!). “Shopping” was basically “here’s an enormous bag – now go fill it” and everyone went wild (okay that pun was NOT intended, but I’ll take it!). At first we were like “oh, we shouldn’t take too much – it’s greedy!” (so very Canadian), but by the end of it we were being encouraged to stuff as much as we could into our bags.

So, needless to say, but I came home with a LOT of products, which means I now have the awesome opportunity to turn that around and pass some on to you guys! I’ll be giving away two Wet n Wild prize packs for two different people to enjoy. Click here for a listing of the products included in the giveaway.

Giveaway Rules

  • This giveaway is open internationally!
  • This giveaway starts on February 12, 2016 and runs for two weeks.
  • Please be aware that all entries will be double checked to ensure fairness.
  • There are two prize packs for this giveaway.
  • The grand prize winner will be contacted first. They will have 48 hours to provide me with their mailing address. If they fail to respond within that time frame, I will pick another grand prize winner. (And so on.) Once the grand prize winner has been confirmed, I will then select the secondary prize winner and they in turn will have 48 hours to provide me with their address, etc.
  • “Giveaway accounts” will not be considered for this prize. (And hilariously, giveaway accounts never actually read the rules, so they haven’t a clue that I’ll end up disqualifying them anyway!)

    1. I love their eyeshadow palettes! Unfortunately, they didn’t have any of them at the event (SO SAD), but man did I get a lot of other goodies! Good luck Jodi. <3

  1. Hi! Happy friday! 🙂 I Love their eyeshadow palettes And lipsticks!!They are very good and at a good price! 🙂

        1. I can never have any luck personally. Julie’s my makeup whisperer and seems to be able to hunt them down like nobody’s business! When she found me the California Roll six-pan several months back I was soooo happy!

          1. There’s one Rexall here that I can usually count on to have the displays, but what I want is usually gone. I wanted to get my hands on that collection so bad last year, but it wasn’t to be found. 🙁 There was also a palette I bought a couple of years ago that was all matte with a warm medium brown, a cream, and a viiiiiibrant teal/blue shade and it somehow got lost between New Mexico where I picked it up and here. Never even got to put it on my face.

    1. Well it was like a feeding frenzy by the end! I was so happy when the PR company consented to a giveaway – it’s really nice to be able to share the wealth sometimes. 🙂

    1. LOl I know right? I have such vivid memories of buying terrible Wet n Wild lipsticks in the 90s. Man, those things were so waxy. Thankfully, the quality has gotten a LOT better since then!

  2. To be honest I am way out of touch with make-up and the art of putting it on. I learned so much from your video. I will be off to purchase some brushes tomorrow!

        1. You’re the second person that’s asked me about brushes. I was considering doing a video – is that something you would watch?

Off the top of my head though, the Real Techniques brushes (available via Walmart) take up the bulk of my collection!

          1. Yes, I would love to watch this, thank you! And I have been trying your techniques, and I am having fun and feeling pretty.

          2. Thank you so very much. I didn’t go purchase any brushes, I thought I would wait until you posted as I didn’t know what to purchase! Well you not only described brushes but you also instructed on how and where to use them! Thank you so very much!

          3. You’re so very welcome! I’m glad it was helpful! As I said, I’m not much of a brush person so they’re a liiiiittle less exciting for me to talk about than say, for example, actual makeup products, but I know how helpful brush videos/guides can be. Good luck with your brush shopping!

    1. I feel you! I was so surprised when Wet n Wild products were suddenly being touted as GOOD products several years back. I had so many memories of terrible products back in the 90s!

      1. Glad I’m not the only one who remembers that lol

I’ve been meaning to try their products again after reading so many good reviews but I haven’t had much luck finding them..

        1. Haha! You never forget your first! 😉

Walmart and Rexall are the only places I’ve been able to find their products in Ontario, although I have picked up quite a few items whenever I’m at drugstores in the US.

  3. I LOVE Wet n Wild lipsticks!! Any of their lip colors really! 😄 Hope you had lots of fun, thanks for sharing 😉

  4. I’ve never strayed away from my Wet n’ Wild Comfort Zone palette, so it’ll be amazing to see if I could win some new goodies! Thanks for hosting this giveaway, Chelle! 🙂

    So nice to follow you.
I’m excited to read all your new posts.

  6. My mom gave me Wet N Wild makeup when I turned 17 and I’ve loved it ever since. I absolutely loveee their lipsticks! They’re affordable, very pigmented, and they never dry out my lips like other brands.

  7. OMG I am totally jealous!! here’s a bag go wild….i would freak right out and throw everything in my bag lol. LOVE Wet n wild products! you can never have enough

  8. Just wanted to ask what do you consider a Giveaway accounts. I do use my Twitter to enter contests, so is it considered a giveaway account? Been following you on all platforms though for some time and do enjoy your blog 🙂
    Thanks for clarifying.

    1. Hi Jolie! So it’s accounts that are created solely for giveaways. I like to enter giveaways myself, but it’s not the only reason for my Twitter/IG accounts because I also post about other things as well. Does that make sense? (For example, I get entries for giveaways from people who have never worn a lick of makeup and yet they suddenly want to win a swag bag. It’s even more bizarre when it’s a man, in their 50s, who has never interacted with me before, and only enters giveaways across various blogs. I’ve zero judgement if anyone wants to wear makeup – but that puts up a red flag to me.) So basically it’s the people who enter giveaways with the intention of re-selling or even returning the products and that’s why I put that stipulation in there. I hope that helps!

  9. ouu. This would be so awesome to get because it’s so hard to find a good selection of WnWin my area! Plus i’m totally jealous of the American WnW products.

  10. K, real question. What constitutes a giveaway account? I love to enter giveaways, but I’m a real person and do other things too like cook and read.

    1. Haha, never mind I read the previous comments and your answer. I think I’m not a giveaway account. I’m also not a 50 year old male. I love wearing makeup. My current favourite thing is Marcelle Xtension plus mascara.

      1. I just wanted to clarify because there are some… strange entries for giveaways… some people just always want a freebie no matter what it is, you know?

    2. Hi! I copied my response to someone else so that I would stay consistent: “So it’s accounts that are created solely for giveaways. I like to enter giveaways myself, but it’s not the only reason for my Twitter/IG accounts because I also post about other things as well. Does that make sense? (For example, I get entries for giveaways from people who have never worn a lick of makeup and yet they suddenly want to win a swag bag. So basically it’s the people who enter giveaways with the intention of re-selling or even returning the products and that’s why I put that stipulation in there. I hope that helps!”

      1. And I’m still here. Wow you’re fast. I would never resell or return anything. Only wear it with enjoyment.

  11. I had a wet’n wild blue/silver eyeshadow palette many years ago. That’s been my favourite, although I like the pedal pusher eyeshadow colours right now.

  12. I love Wet n Wild lipsticks….even when the cap falls off in your purse and you get orange lipstick all over your keys and wallet! Hah its still one of my all time favorites!

  13. LOL ok I do plenty of giveaways too so not sure if I’m going to qualify in that category. However I do love make-up and I am 100% a 40 year old female.. who loves the colour purple and black as colours for my face . great giveaway by the way.

  14. thank you for this opportunity. it’s so kind from you to do this giveaway bc there’s sooo many people out there who wants great cosmetics but they’re not rich enough to get one. so it’s good to give some who really needs it ♥ good luck

  15. My sister gave me this eye shadow palette years and years ago from them – it was clear plastic and it had 4 shimmery neutral shades and it was one of my absolute favourite makeup products I owned! I got so many compliments on it! They have similar shades still, but the nostalgia of that particular palette is something I’ll always remember!

  16. My god, as a teen I would LOOOOVE going to the drug store and picking out Wet n’Wild nail colours and trying all the funky colours they had at the time! Awesome! Thanks for this great and nostalgic giveaway!

  17. I have a couple nail polishes from them, super cute packaging! I’ve always wanted to try heir lipsticks though! i’m so excited for this giveaway!

  18. Thank you for the awesome giveaway! OK, my Twitter account will look like a giveaway account as entering contests is my hobby. But I am a gal that is in desperate need of some new and exciting make-up! I’ve never tried Wet & Wild. 🙂 Guess that makes me a virgin of sorts. LOL

  19. Just found your blog today. I love a great Canadian blog! I have recently been using the ombré blushes as a highlight. I picked them up at Target while on vacation last month. Also bought 2 of the velvet matte sticks but they wear funny. :/

  20. I like using their dual sided lipsticks…I’ve got one that’s soft pink and then fushia on the other side.
